The purpose of the Friends for Satsuma Schools organization is to support the Satsuma City School System and help ensure the success of our schools by funding projects that will help improve both students and schools. The organization also awards scholarships and promotes continuous growth.
In the beginning…
Friends for Satsuma Schools was formed to encourage the citizens of Satsuma to vote “yes” to the creation of the Satsuma City School System in 2011. The results were announced, the school system was formed, and the first project of the organization was deemed a success. After this, the group wanted to continue helping the schools. Before the next school year began, the Friends for Satsuma Schools organization helped clean the school grounds, move furniture, landscape, and powerwash the buildings and sidewalks.
The Friends for Satsuma Schools would not provide the level of support it does to the Satsuma school community without the dedication and hard work of its officers!

Swampfest
Swampfest is a community event sponsored by The Friends for Satsuma Schools for the purpose of raising funds for year-round success.
